We just started part two of The Girl Who Owned a City. Yay!
At the beginning of section two, there is a quote:
"Having things is something, but not everything. Earning the values for your life is more than just something, it's everything!"
What do you think this means?

I think it means that you should cherish what

I think that it means you do not need to have everything that you want,and that you should use what you have.

DeleteI think that it means some things are good that you get like when she got help from her friends to start a militia and some things are bad like when she left her base to teach Todd how to drive a truck and the chidester gang burnt there house.

DeleteI think it means that she has a militia but she dose not have her home. When her and her brother don't have a home she has to be strong to stick to her beliefs to make the town better again.
ReplyDeleteI think it means things are not everything and earning values are everything in life. I think this quote relate to anybody in the book by not just having toys but to do work. :)
